Tour Detail

This 8 day camp takes place on the banks of the holy river Ganges in the beautiful city of Haridwar. It offers the thrill of rafting in the Ganges and also gives children an opportunity to perform some adventurous outdoor sports such as cliff jumping, body surfing, bungee jumping and flying fox. Children will witness the famous aarti ceremony on banks of the Ganga. This is a moderately challenging camp, perfect for 14-18 year old teens.
Destination
Rishikesh is located in the Tehri-Garhwal region of Uttaranchal. The holy city lies on the bank of river Ganga. Rishikesh offers rafting for beginners as well as experienced rafters.

The main aim of this programme is to develop a spirit of adventure amongst children.

Participants will be staying in tents, close to nature and will be involved in mostly outdoor adventure activities.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Train Journey to Delhi

All Campers are Requested to Assemble On Time At the Meeting Point.

pune Campers: Assemble At Congress Bhavan At 06:30 Hrs and Begin the Journey.

mumbai Campers : Assemble At Bandra Terminus At 11:30 Hrs and Board the Train to Delhi.

Day 2: Travel to Haridwar

Partcipants Arrive At Delhi Rohilla Station At 12:15 Hrs and And Then Transfer to New Delhi Junction At 15:20 Hrs to Board Another Train. They Reach Haridwar At 19:30 Hrs and Then Proceed to the Campsite By Road.

Day 3: Orientation and Water Sport

The Day Starts with Orientation and Safety Drill Techniques After Which Campers Experience Their First Thrill of Rafting from Marine Drive to Shivpuri, a 12 Km Stretch. Participants Engage in Beach Games in the Evening.

Day 4: Outdoor Sports and Water Sport

After An Early Morning Warm Up Session, Participants Perform Rafting from Shivpuri to Munni Ki Reti, a 16 Km Stretch Along with Cliff Jump and Body Surfing. They Then Enjoy the Beach Volleyball and Games in the Evening.

Day 5: Bungee Jump and Ganga Aarti

Participants Proceed to Rishikesh After Breakfast for the Thrilling Bungee Jump and Flying Fox Experience Which is An Optional Set of Activity. They have Lunch At the Bungee Campsite. in the Evening Participants Witness the Ganga Aarti. They Then Enjoy Their Dinner At Rishikesh.

Day 6: Water Sports and Travel to Mumbai

Today, Participants Experience Their Final Exciting Lap of Rafting Over a Stretch of 28 Km. After Lunch, Participants Then Depart for Haridwar to Board Their Train Scheduled At 18:50 Hrs.

Day 7: Arrive in Mumbai

Campers Arrive At Ltt ( Kurla Terminus ) By 23:45 Hrs.

pune Campers Will Continue Ahead for Pune By Bus/train.

Day 8: Arrive in Pune

Participants Arrive At Congress Bhavan By 04:00 Hrs. the Trip Ends After That.

Payments Terms

  • Pugmarks establishes a tie up with local hospital/nursing home/doctor at every camp site.
  • In case of remote areas, either a vehicle is retained at the campsite or it is on call at the local transporter.
  • A roll call/physical count will be taken to ensure nobody is left behind. This will be observed during travel, treks and adventure activities. A Pugmarks instructor will lead the walking trail in the jungle. The end will be brought up by another instructor and nobody will trail behind him.
  • Food on Pugmarks camp is good and plentiful. It is predominantly vegetarian, freshly cooked, non oily, non spicy. Water on campsite is clean and treated with liquid chlorine if required.
  • In the mountains, there are rescue parties to evacuate victims suffering from altitude sickness, asthma and body injuries. In the remote wilderness, there are standby vehicles to transfer the victim to the nearest primary health centre or hospital.
  • Emergency involving whole group - This can be a natural calamity, local unrest and violence or even a mundane traffic jam that throws all schedules out of gear. In such situations, the control room seeks help from the police commissioner and coordinates with district authorities to sort out the problem.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation charges will be applicable as follows and will cover all situations such as injuries, sickness, exams, interviews, selection in tournaments etc.:
  • More than 30 days prior to departure - 10% of the tour cost will be charged
  • 30-16 days prior to departure - 15% of the tour cost will be charged
  • 15-10 days prior to departure - 50% of the tour cost will be charged
  • Less than 10 days prior to departure - 100% of the tour cost will be charged.
